Pure are currently exclusively recruiting on behalf of a well known business based to the East of Norwich who are seeking a Assistant Financial Accountant to join their busy finance team. Due to a recent restructure, this is a new position to the business which will report to the companies Financial Accountant, whilst working closely with the rest of the team and other members of management. Key duties of the role include but aren't limited to: Year-end statutory accounts and audit as directed by the GFC and UKFA Preparation of the year-end audit deliverables Preparation of UK statutory accounts P&L Consolidation Balance Sheet consolidation, analysis and reconciliation's Analysis of direct costs, overheads and profit improvement projects, including commentary Prep of monthly management accounts Support the Treasury Controller in preparation of monthly bank reconciliation's Personal skills and qualifications required: Part/fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Excellent Excel skills Proactive verbal and written communicator Previous experience in a similar role Ability to work under pressure to meet a companies tight deadlines The successful person will receive a completive package and will be employed on a full-time basis (37.5 hrs per week).
