Job descriptionA career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You'll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.As part of our Learning and Development Design and Curriculum team, you'll help lead the design process for all PwC traditional classroom and technology enabled learning solutions. You'll be working with subject matter specialists, programme directors/managers and project teams to strategise effective ways to educate and train our people on industry related materials.Reporting to the Head of Learning Design, the Audit Technical Content Leader is responsiblefor overseeing the team that designs and develops all Audit LoS training material.The roleDo you want to be at the forefront of influencing the firm's approach to technical training andpeople development? Are you a strong communicator able to navigate ambiguity and inspire alarge team to embrace change and deliver innovative training? In this role you will beresponsible for leading a team of up to 20 individuals to develop technical training material forclassroom and technology-enabled delivery. You will work alongside SMEs, Risk and Quality,Instructional Designers and external vendors to create material that meets the current needs ofthe business and our people.Key aspects of this role
• Drive collaboration with Instructional Designers, the Learning Experience team andthe Strategic Relationships team.
• Ensure all technical training content meets the requirements of the business.
• Accountable for the overall design of all technical training programmes, whichincludes existing and new programmes.
• Ensure all training material complies with required regulatory standards and meetsthe requirements of compliance inspections.
• Ensure all training material complies with required industry standards such as ISQ1or the Audit Risk Management Standards.
• Prepare for internal and external compliance inspections and support regulatoryinspections to assess PwC compliance with regulatory training standards.
• Undertake final reviews and quality control of regulated technical training material.Requirements
• Deep technical knowledge and experience of learning design and adult learningprinciples.
• Strong interest in quickly developing knowledge in latest learning and developmentmethodologies and emerging technologies.
• Experience of designing high quality blended learning solutions that will bringbusiness benefits to PwC.
• Good knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements including QMS, QMR,AQRT and PCAOB.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively identify issues and be able to apply soundconclusions resulting in efficient and cost effective solutions.
• Commercially orientated - keep commercial aspects continually in mind when takingactions or making decisions.
• Proven ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as a track record ofworking professionally and collaboratively as part of a wider-team.
• Communicate confidently and effectively, at all levels, both in written and verbal form- interpersonal skills and networking are key.
• Highly energised and motivated to effect change and influence the firm's approach topeople development.
• Innovative and creative in approaching new challenges.
• Positive, 'can do' attitude, particularly when dealing with ambiguity.
• Experience in relationship management, including strong client handling skills -interpersonal and networking.
• Goal orientated - maintaining focus on agreed objectives and deliverables.
• Excellent attention to detail.
