Credit Controller required for a recognised Leicester SME company near to the Glenfield area. This is a permanent, full time opportunity and a standalone position. You will be working within an established finance team and you will take ownership of the credit control. Our client will pay up to 24k plus excellent benefits to attract the very best candidates. The main purpose of the role is to manage the debtor facility, ensuring a clean and tidy ledger whilst managing queries and ensuring accurate allocations. Responsibilities:
Ensure timely payment of debts; chasing of overdue debts within agreed timescales. Allocation of large-scale payments accurately by line level across multiple accounts. Processing and reconciliation of sales invoices. Accurate allocation of receipts in finance system. Work closely with the branches to quickly resolve any variances and queries. Processing card and direct debit payments. Send statements and chasing letters to customers. Process Journals Other Duties and expectations: Performing general office administration tasks, as and when required. Provide support to the Finance team, helping to provide cover in periods of absence Adhere to the company financial policies and processes Salary £24,000 Excellent Benefits
