Assistant Accountant Based: Clitheroe

Salary:
Up to 25k Our client, a fantastic growing business based in Clitheroe is looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone with good experience of the day to day transactional duties together with experience of assisting with Management Accounts. Ideally you will be studying AAT at either level 3 or 4. You will be reporting to the Financial controller with a view to fast progression in the next 12 months. Some of the duties are as follows: Role: Statutory returns (e.g. EC sales, VAT, Intrastat), and audits (internal and external) VAT reviews and support on system maintenance Support with information and reporting requirements cashflow forecasting and maintenance Inland revenue Profit and loss Adhoc project involvement Responsible for daily bank and monthly petty cash reconciliations Drive continual process improvements and efficiencies within department, working closely with IT Ensure a strong internal control and compliance environment Our client is offering a fantastic benefits package and the chance of fast progression together.
