A leading Hi-Tech business in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a qualified accountant to join them as Group Reporting Controller for a 6-month fixed term contract. About the Business This company is a well-established market leader that has undertaken a significant number of acquisitions over recent years. The business is continuously looking to improve the Group reporting function and therefore requires an enthusiastic individual to join their team. Role Description The appointed Group Accountant will be responsible for bridging the gap between Shared Services and Senior Management, whilst ensuring that accurate reporting is carried out across Group Finance. Key Responsibilities of this role: Provide support to ease overall workload of Group Finance IFRS16 conversion US GAAP conversion - analysis, investigation CoA mappings build Smaller entity statutory accounts Excel modelling for new reporting template to new Group owners Candidate Profile The business is looking for a Group Reporting Controller who is able to demonstrate: Qualification as an ACA / ACCA accountant Previous experience working in a financial reporting position within a large multi-national organisation Strong Excel skills A high level of accuracy Excellent problem-solving skills The ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality output The ability to communicate with all levels of the business in managing stakeholders On Offer A salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum is on offer to the successful Group Accountant.
