An exciting opportunity has arisen with an established, multi-class insurer in the heart of the London Market who are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant with the position focusing primarily on expense accounting, analysis and reporting. This role provides responsibility in acting as an expense business partner for the business with its overseas entities as well as supervisory responsibility for a corporate accountant and accounts payable team members. Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly closure of general ledger for the above entity, including cashbook postings, expense recharge, schedule preparation, reconciliations and journal processing Prepare statutory accounts Preparation of quarterly VAT returns Preparation of annual PSA return Submission of half yearly RMAR return Assist with the expense budgeting Oversee the group expense allocation Prepare monthly expense reports Act as the expense business partner for overseas entities The ideal candidate will be a qualified chartered accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) who will have at a minimum five years' post qualification experience in an Insurance environment being a technically established accountant with a proven track record and looking to take a supervisory step in their career.
