Management Accountant £275-300 per day Central London My client is a multi-national management consultancy and are looking for a management accountant for 4 months.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of the month end management accounts for the three UK divisions, Italy and India, including posting of monthly journals such as payroll, accruals, depreciation, inter-company recharges and FX revaluations; Ensure KPIs and other financial information is reported accurately in the Group management accounts; Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations for each division, reviewing and controlling key accounts Assist the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as and when is required; Act as a trusted advisor to colleagues both within and outside of the finance team. Assist in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns; Proactive in improving business processes and procedures to implement best practice and operational improvements; Help to ensure all transactions are correctly accounted for in a timely manner Undertaking any other duties relevant to the key tasks and responsibilities identified by the Senior Management Accountant or the Finance Business Partner Requirements Have experience in a similar finance function role, ideally within a professional services environment or from a practice environment Be a recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent preferred). Have excellent organisational and project management skills. Be able to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines. Have strong skills in MS Excel. Have strong communications skills, including written English.
