Role Summary The role will be responsible for the accurate recording and coding of invoices onto the Finance system (NetSuite), liaising with the relevant departments within the business to obtain approval to ensure all invoices are paid within agreed terms and all supplier queries resolved in a timely manner. Preparing supplier payment runs on a bi-weekly basis. They will also validate employee expenses to ensure that they adhere to the company's travel and expense policy and accurately account for VAT on expenses and import expense files into NetSuite to allow for payment. This role will involve building a professional relationship with the business and their suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with approving invoices to timesheets and using NetSuite. Responsibilities Main duties: Accounts Payable Recording supplier invoices and credit notes on a daily basis and ensure that they are accurately coded, approved back to timesheets or purchase orders and entered onto system Prepare and load supplier payments onto finance system and the banking system for approval Send Supplier remittance advices following payment Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies Deal with all supplier enquiries and ensure that all invoices are paid within terms Process employee expense claims in line with the company's travel and expense policy and accurately account for VAT. All expense claims are approved on webexpenses and imported onto NetSuite Raise purchase orders and send to suppliers Ensuring all work is completed in line with month end targets Maintain good customer relationships at all times General Finance duties Assist with ad hoc duties as required to support the other roles within the finance department Knowledge, Skills and Experience Accounts payable experience Ability to problem solve Good organisational skills Good communication skills Good knowledge and use of Excel Communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders Personal Qualities Highly organised and methodical Analytical Detail-oriented Proactive Dedicated to meeting targets Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving Who are we?
