Payroll Implementation Analyst sought by one of the UK's leading payroll service providers based in the heart of England, with almost 50 years of providing outsourced payroll services. The Role: Supporting the Bureau Payroll Manager, manage the onboarding of payroll clients by scoping, planning and delivering a number of payroll and HR system implementation projects. You`ll work on short-term, one-off undertakings while developing a strategic framework for future project migrations and implementations. - Working on system migration and projects through the transformation lifecycle, keeping project teams and stakeholders up to date at all times - Using various methodologies e.g. manual keying and manipulation/import of multiple data sets across numerous file formats - Helping develop implementation plans and functional specifications to enable timely, accurate project delivery for existing & new clients, including payroll for internal companies - Diagnosing the need for change when and where appropriate, through review of processes, legislative governance, technology and business practice - Assessment of the risk and benefits of implementing change and articulating the business case to ensure buy in and investment where appropriate - Helping develop best practice process maps, operating procedures and SLAs for bureau team members and end users - Maintaining clear channels of communication with internal & external stakeholders - Working with managers / leaders to deliver cohesive change where it overlaps service areas - Gap analysis, impact analysis and process mapping - Driving an ethos that puts the customer at the heart of services The successful Payroll Implementation Analyst should have: - Experience of working with payroll implementation projects and data migration - Experience with TUPE transfers and acquisitions - Highly skilled in PAYE legislation - An understanding of database relationships - Experience with working across multiple systems and platforms: payroll, HR, T&A and management of interfaces and import/export routines - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Word & Excel) - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - Highly analytical and attentive, with excellent problem solving skills - Flexible approach to workload and working hours, to accommodate fast moving projects and ever evolving processes and changes to legislation The following skills and experience are desirable but not essential: - Knowledge of project management processes - Experience of Microsoft Visio - CIPP or similar payroll qualification Benefits: - Up to £35,000 depending on experience - Contributory Pension: 5% employee, 3% company - Flexible benefits (Perkbox) - Life Assurance 2x salary - 22 days holiday bank holidays, rising with service Payroll Implementation Analyst Meriden, West Midlands / Warwickshire - commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Leamington Spa, Rugby, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Redditch etc Up to circa £35,000 depending on experience benefits
