This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly experienced individual to join this leading US technology organisation in this key position. Leading a mid-size team, you will be responsible for the overall accuracy and compliance of the financial accounting and reporting functions of the EMEA regions with additional input into the international Balance Sheet activities. Other areas of responsibility will include: control and reporting for the International regions; consolidation of Global Profit and Loss; EMEA inter-company accounting; fixed assets reporting; foreign exchange management and revaluation; external audit co-ordination and financial transformation initiatives. You will be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, preferably originating from Top 10 Practice with significant exposure to US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards. You will have strong man-management abilities and experience of working within a multi-national, matrix-based organisation. Clearly this role requires an individual of not only outstanding technical accounting and reporting skills but has the leadership qualities to inspire a highly professional team. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a given as is a commercial business acumen.
