Haris & Co is a Chartered Certified Accountancy practice offering a broad range of services to clients in a variety of sectors. The accounting practice is based in Glasgow with a stable and dynamic business and an excellent variety of work. The general practice team is growing and the firm is looking for: - ONE Accounts Senior , Part Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience to join the team on a permanent basis. The role will involve assisting the director in running the practice, advising to clients, managing junior staff, preparation, reviewing and finalising the personal and company accounts and tax returns. ONE Accounts Assistant , University graduate or qualified by experience to join the team on a permanent basis. The role will involve a mix of Book-keeping, Payroll, VAT preparations and small business accounts and other office admin work. The ideal candidate will be a strong all-rounder accounts person with an ability to work on own initiative and generate solutions. Essential Skills and Experience The candidate must have at least 2-3 years' work experience, gained in a public practice covering accounts preparation of small & medium-sized businesses - sole traders, partnership & limited companies; VAT Returns; Payroll; Corporation Tax and Personal Tax Returns. Software Package Experience MS Word, XLS, TaxCalc, Payroll Manager, VT / Xero / QuickBooks / Sage The candidate will work on average 35 hours per week.
