My client is looking to engage a dynamic accounting professional to enter the business at Financial Controller level, with the view to grow their role, and the organisation over the next 2 to 3 years. We are open to all applications, but the scope of this role would lend itself to a Qualified Accountant, Finance Manager or Senior within a practice who looking to take their next steps in a upward trajectory career defining role. The Role As Financial Controller, you will be positioned in the business as an integral part of the day to day running, and the strategic growth of the organisation. My client has grown from a start-up organisation in 2015 to a £50million turnover, through PE injection and shrewd competitor acquisition. This has created an exciting opportunity for the new FC, as you will have two clear focuses on both day-to-day finance responsibilities, and future growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities Processes & Procedures improvements Systems improvement Management of Month End processes and the team producing (team of 4) Cash-flow Management Organisational integration and harmonisation Due Diligence Presenting future acquisitions to the board This is a new role, within an organisation with aggressive growth strategies. You will be able to mould this role into what you want it to be, as you will be reporting to the Finance Director directly, and he is looking for the successful individual to create a successful template, so that you can progress within the organisation and recruit your successor. Your Profile My client is a PE back business, and therefore they are interested in the working with proactive individuals who are keen to grow and develop. My client feels that this is a role that would suit either an ACA trained accountant with SME or Transactional Services exposure, or a CIMA qualified accountant with experience of improving processes and managing change.
