Head of Financial Planning and Analysis Robert Half are delighted to be working alongside a rapidly growing FMCG business based in South West England, accessable from Bristol, Swindon, Gloucestershire or Somerset to recruit a commercial finance leader to create a new Financial planning function for the business to push revenue growth and bottom line understanding. This role will be a vital cog in a growing finance team and will report straight into the CFO. Role Manage and oversee all monthly management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning activities of the business Act as the analytical engine for the business, providing financial and strategic support to senior management prepare board and financial presentations, capex analysis, and analyse and assess new business opportunities and other projects. Manage a growing team of qualified accountants Lead the P&L reporting process, ensuring the provision of accurate, relevant and timely management information to the business. Challenge and scrutinise budgets and business plans and deliver to senior management. Analyse trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and potential and green lighted capital expenditure projects. Provide decision support to management for decision making purposes based on numbers and assumptions. Responsible for the continued development of the businesses five year business plan and budgets Ensure new system and budgeting tool are used efficiently by business and team. Profile Robert Half's client is looking for a candidate with excellent financial planning, reporting and analysis skills, but also a strong manager and inspiring leader, the succesful candidate will be used to large scale projects and also have experience with acquisition activity.
