Internal Audit Consultant. South West Londonup to £50K BensElite Audit are now partnering this highly regarded not for profit sector organisation in seeking an experienced Internal auditor to join the team.The role as Internal Audit Consultant , you will be responsible for delivering assignments, taking an agreed terms of reference and performing strategic, risk based audits to provide assurance on internal controls, governance and risk. The audit consultant will have a line manager for appraisal and coaching purposes but will work on a variety of assignments led by different managers and directors.The ideal candidate will hold an appropriate audit or accounting qualification (IIA, CIA or CCAB) and have experience of delivering internal assignments covering risk management, governance and control, and value for money and performance improvement. We will consider part-qualified candidates but only if they have extensive and relevant experience.Candidates should have experience of internal audit within the not for profit sectors ideally higher education, or public sector. Experience of working in an existing internal audit function in the HE sector or a top 10 professional firm would be an advantage.This firm offers a competitive salary which will be based on the role description and the experience of the successful candidate.
