Our client is a leading Global provider of fully serviced apartments and one of the worlds biggest hospitality companies. With over 100,000 serviced apartments in over 60 countries they provide something for every budget from 3 star to 6 star . They have a vacancy for a Director of Revenue Management EMEA and the successful candidate will have 5 years of RM experience, including extensive experience analyzing and reporting complex financial information. Experience in hospitalityand corporate housing / Serviced Apartments. This key position will be responsible for development and management of revenue/yield strategies including pricing, demand analysis and inventory management for the EMEA region. This position requires very strong skills and a deep understanding of yield management, OTAs, pricing and Revenue Management strategies, and Microsoft Excel. The Director of Revenue Management, EMEA is responsible for maximizing unit revenue through optimal balance of occupancy, rate and inventory and to support all pricing activities in the region. Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
• Strong RM knowledge and background and understanding of the hospitality industry
• Advanced analytical skills, and ability to input, compile, and interpret large amounts of data
• Excellent understanding of supply and demand, forecasting, yielding and revenue management
• High degree of corporate I.Q. and the ability to interact effectively with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and market leaders.
• Ability to multi-task and comfortable working in a fast paced environment while being detail oriented
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and matrix organization and strong customer service skills
• Strong work ethic, high self-organization, and willingness to go above and beyond to achieve goals
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with teammates and other stakeholders
• Ability to read, write and speak English language, using excellent grammar and communication skills
• Ability to manage distribution channels and forecast revenue
• Strong communication skills in interfacing with Operations, Reservations, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and other groups Education:
• BA or BS Degree from accredited college or university required
• A concentration in Maths, Economics, RM, Hospitality, Accounting and/or Finance is preferred.
