To ensure McLaren Automotive continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for a FP&A Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. Purpose of the role: You will be required to help manage the long-term business plan as well as control and manage the detailed financial forecasting and reporting models for McLaren Automotive Limited (MAL). You will manage, and challenge inputs provided by different areas of the business and ensure timely delivery and accuracy of all financial reporting and analysis. Principal accountabilities: Assist, drive and shape the development of new planning and reporting system. Work with the Finance team to create effective reporting for decision making. Developing and improving the monthly reporting packs, both for MAL internal use and Shareholder packs. Help manage and maintain the forecasting, budget, and long term business planning financial models. Support and co-ordinate other finance teams to ensure timely forecasting is completed. Support the preparation of material for Board reports and meetings. Support the preparation of material for weekly Executive meetings and monthly offsite meetings. Assist Commercial and Finance departments in identifying areas for efficiency and improvement. Assist in challenging all areas of the business to maximise performance. Assist in managing working capital through liaising with numerous business functions. Ad hoc project work and analysis. Knowledge, skills & experience: Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Highly advanced excel skills and ability to deal with large volumes of complex data is essential Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, along with adherence to deadlines Experience working within low volume automotive / manufacturing companies desired but not essential Personal attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, communication, networking, collaboration, and interpersonal skills - ability to build relationships of trust with a wide range of individuals. Proactive approach to working practices. Ability to work with diverse workforce and in challenging conditions.
