Accounts Assistant Maternity Cover Basingstoke £22-£24k My client is seeking a responsible person work in their accounts department - starting in early November and the contract is expected to last until September 2020. DUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchase ledger (inputting invoices, making payments, statement reconciliations) Posting daily bank transactions Sales ledger (raising invoices, credit notes, credit control and sending customer statements) Reconciliation of credit card and petty cash Processing staff expenses Monthly Intrastat arrivals reporting First point of contact for the accounts department, dealing with internal and external queries. Processing marketing claims Filing, archiving, post, reporting. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years' experience working in accounts Good people, administration and timekeeping skills are essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both internal and external Attention to detail and high level of accuracy paramount Must be able to work independently and on own initiative Proficient with MS Office particularly excel SALARY & BENEFITS: £22-24k 23 days holiday Free parking Please apply today Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
