Audit and Accounts Semi Senior
As the Audit and Accounts Semi Senior you will be joining a multi branch independent top 100 accountancy practice where you will be responsible for providing high quality audit accounting and related client services, whilst also contributing to the overall growth and success of this highly rewarding company. This role is offered on a full time permanent basis 37.5 hours and would be based at their Kettering office. Main
responsibilities:
• Carry out the senior role on audit assignments as required
• Prepare statutory financial statements
• Prepare business partnership and personal tax returns
• Prepare corporation tax returns
• Assist with general client enquiries regarding bookkeeping and enquiries
• Monitor own quality of performance and time costs in line with agreed budgets
• Assist with administrative tasks if necessary
• Record own chargeable time and enable maximum recoveries
• Attend courses appropriate to job role
• Undertake bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts preparation, as and when required
• Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information for their accounts, acting in a proactive manner and ensuring attention to detail and effective questioning of client
• Provide support to trainees through on-the-job coaching and supervision of their work Skills and experience required
• AAT qualified or equivalent
• Minimum of 18 months proven audit and accounts experience within a practice environment
• Knowledge of accounting systems and their uses/benefits
• In-depth audit and accounts preparation knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and trust What's in it for you? As the Audit and Accounts Semi Senior you will be started on a salary of £19,000 - £28,000 depending on experience, flexible working hours, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (increases with service), with the option of buying and selling more.
