Payroll Advisor
Fixed term contract with a very high possibility to go permanent. Initially 3 - 6 months. This position is for an extremely fast-going organization who breed an excellent office culture and offer progression opportunities. About the Role
• Working with Payroll & Pensions Manager to ensure monthly payroll is delivered (alongside additional expenses runs).
• Ensure accuracy of the Hub in terms of colleague data and organisation structure and manage ongoing maintenance of the organisation structure by the creation of new roles etc.
• Process contractual changes in the Hub and manage relevant communication/letters.
• Manage general colleague queries (e.g. queries relating to the Hub, annual leave etc.)
• Work with Finance on relevant tasks relating to Payroll.
• Attend and participate in team meetings and broader HRD team initiatives.
• Actively participate in training and development initiatives and strive to put new knowledge and skills into performance of role. About You
• The role of Payroll Advisor is about providing a comprehensive service to colleagues across the business in terms of ensuring there are paid accurately (including expenses), that colleague queries are managed, contractual changes processed, and that the Hub is administered and maintained accurately.
• Attention to detail and experience of working with HR/Payroll systems is essential. As well as a good working knowledge of excel, a good understanding of relevant legislation (e.g. pensions) and strong numerical skills are fundamental.
• The postholder will manage colleague queries in a proactive and approachable manner, ensuring escalation of any risks or issues to the Payroll Manager.
• The postholder will deliver excellent customer service to be delivered with regards colleague's queries or issues relating to their pay, pension or other terms and conditions.
• The postholder will be a team player within HRD who is flexible and keen to take on new tasks and can work as part of a broader team to enhance our processes and maximise utilisation of the Hub.
