An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller at a leading Manchester City Centre based company. Working within a thriving finance team you will be responsible for all aspects of debt management, including chasing overdue payments, allocating cash and dealing with any internal and external stakeholder queries. As a Credit Controller your responsibilities include: Collecting overdue payments Issuing overdue notices via post and email Attending monthly/weekly aged debt meetings Contacting clients to discuss outstanding payments Dealing with queries relating to outstanding payments Posting bank transactions to the relevant accounts Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations Setting up direct debits Collecting monthly direct debits Making payments where necessary Setting up and closing accounts where necessary Ad hoc duties as required As a Credit Controller you will have/be: Previous experience working in a debt management experience Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written High attention to detail Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Excel Able to use initiative and work independently when necessary For more information on this, or any other finance roles in Manchester City Centre, please contact Lucy Govan at Robert Walters PLC on (url removed) or (phone number removed)
