Within Ocado's finance function are the commercial finance teams. One part of the commercial finance team is UK operations. The UK operation team are responsible for supporting Fulfilment Operations, Service Delivery Operations and the relationship with Morrisons. The team support through financial budgeting and forecasting cycles. Business Partnering with each area of the business to provide strong and effective support, this team works with the colleagues that cover all aspects of Ocado's UK operational network.What you will be doing?Providing value adding financial insight, support and challenge to the operational teams or Ocado Retail teams by building effective working relationships at all levels, including senior managers and with other departments in the businessPlay an active role and own parts of the operational or Ocado Retail annual Budget and quarterly Forecast process, understanding key drivers for cost variances and ensuring effective/ value adding reviews with stakeholdersProduce management accounts (both P&L and Capex) for the business area supporting on a timely and accurate basis, also producing insightful commentary and carrying out period end review meetings with budget holdersBusiness Partnering: support the Operational Directors & senior leadership teams in decision making for commercial contracts, supplier tenders, pay reviews, business reviews and ad-hoc analysis etc.Business partnering the Ocado Retail team, working closely with the team producing & reviewing periodic accounts, analysis and supporting with any questions, while maintaining a good working relationshipAbout youQualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA accountant with 1 PQE experienceMinimum 2:1 degree and other strong academic record are essentialExperience of period management accounts, analysis and commentarySolid experience of budgeting and forecastExperience of business partnering About Ocado Group When our journey started, we were all about changing the way people shop for groceries. 20 years later, we're a FTSE 100 business developing our own ground breaking technology, opening multiple sites at an accelerating rate and engaging in exciting new business partnerships around the worldTransforming an industry means also transforming the way we do business.
