Urgent requirement for an experienced Payroll Clerk for our client based in Coatbridge. This is a temporary role which will last until approximately November/ December 2019. Hours of work are Monday Friday 8.30am5pm. Candidates must have previous experience in all aspects of payroll. Please note; candidates must be able to start ASAP. If you are currently employed in a permanent position and are required to give notice period such as 4 weeks; this role will not be suitable for you. Can you travel and work in Coatbridge? Do you have excellent experience and knowledge of end to end payroll? Are you proficient using MS Excel? If you have answered yes to the above questions then we could have the perfect role for you? The Role: - Uploading timesheets onto system - Check thoroughly each contractor timesheets verses entry onto payroll system - Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data - Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law - Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records - End to end processing of weekly and monthly payroll - Manage any payroll queries efficiently - Monitor monthly pension contributions - Check and validation by variance reports of the final payroll files before submission - Calculate and process statutory sick and wages arrestments The Candidate: - Experience working within a payroll capacity dealing with end to end payroll - Excellent verbal and written communication - Positive outlook - Good organisational skills - Excellent time management - Resourcefulness - DetailOriented - Proficient knowledge of Excel It is essential candidates applying for this role must have the following - Previous experience working as a payroll clerk - Understanding and experience of statutory sick pay, wages arrestments etc - Proficient knowledge and experience using Excel About Us With 17 specialised brands in our portfolio our aim is to revolutionise and change the face of recruitment, ensuring service delivery across a multitude of our clients and candidates.
