With a membership total of around 25,000 this charity has exciting growth plans and the Director of Finance and IT will be responsible for leading such projects. Main responsibilities of the Director of Finance and IT will include: Delivery and development of financial and IT strategy. Control and monitor the budget setting process. Oversight and leadership of the Finance and IT functions. Direct management of three reports and six indirect reports. Work closely with the Chief Executive to oversee risk management throughout the charity. Ensure best value through software, hardware and service agreements through negotiation with suppliers and contractors. Close liaison with the Chief Executive, Senior Management Team, Trustees, internal and external Stakeholders and the audit committee. Provide strategic long term financial planning, and modelling. Run the monitoring, development, maintenance and upgrading of all IT systems. Lead on statutory reporting and present regularly at Board meetings. This Director of Finance and IT will be based in central London and will benefit from excellent employee perks. This is the perfect position for someone with previous exposure to leading a Finance and IT department for a charity with a turnover of around £15-25 million. The successful candidate will: Be a qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, or equivalent). Have significant experience as a Finance and IT Director. Have extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting and financial reporting. Have previously worked within a membership body. Have managed a minimum of three people. Have previously improved and increased an organisations income. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
