The role of Head of Management Information and Reporting sits as part of the Deputy Finance Directors team and takes ownership and responsibility for all areas of Management Information and Data Analytics expertise across Boots UK. This is a new role which will require supporting significant reporting transformation across Boots UK and encompasses all aspects of the business. Key Responsibilities Lead, develop and mentor Management Information team providing insightful and strategic leadership to enable the establishment of a truly cross functional Management Information solution eradicating the need for ad hoc reporting across the business as well as delivering an engaging and highly-valued user experience Leading the MI & Reporting team, you will be accountable for establishing the new team and establishing an open, honest culture with exceptional employee engagement. You will develop and implement the strategy and plans for the Information & Reporting team, and be accountable for all team budgets and spend. A bit about you... Experience of delivering innovation in business and reporting processes, conveying complex and sensitive information in creative and comprehensible formats; is tenacious and principled in delivering change Experience of accountability for large data sets to generate business insight; understands the benefit of MI to manage, improve and change the business Conscientiously manages the delivery of accurate MI and reporting in a complex operational environment; works with service partners and customers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of operational information Confidence in exploring new, unfamiliar ideas and delivering radical change in difficult business environments Experience of planning and coordinating complex actions plans, ensuring working practices and methods are clearly structured and organized to deliver to multiple internal customers A self-motivated, proactive and insightful leader with a 'can-do' attitude with appreciation of the formal and informal influences and structures within an organisation; works effectively to involve stakeholders in business decisions by building trust and gaining consensus with people across all levels of the organisation and across different countries Experience of SAP systems would be advantageous A bit about us...
