Reed Accountancy Leicester are currently working with an organisation with a long standing presence in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to join as a Company Accountant at a progressive and growing organisation, ensuring it delivers the highest possible contribution to the strategic aims of the organisation. Job Purpose : To oversee the provision of efficient and reliable operational financial management Key responsibilities :
• Prepare medium and long term financial plans and annual budgets that align with the organisations plans.
• To be responsible for the production of the annual accounts, finance record, the QED annual accounts and any required VAT returns.
• Monitor and control the budgetary process and advise the Associate Principal of any necessary actions.
• To assist with the selection, recruitment and deployment of staff as appropriate to the area.
• To be responsible for the banking activities to include oversight of day to day banking, treasury management and management of medium and long term loans.
• To have oversight of the payroll and related pension returns. Person Specification : Essential:
• Accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience of working within regulatory frameworks
• Experience of producing financial reports
• Experience of leading and managing a team of staff Desirable:
