More than 300 customers leverage SAP Fieldglass to gain visibility into their external workforces, including contingent labor, services managed through Statements of Work and independent contractors while optimizing spend, quality, compliance and efficiency. A recognised leader in the Cloud/SaaS market, SAP Ariba have been helping customers make rapid process improvements to their businesses for many years. With this growth, we have increasingly invested in securing sustainable customer success and the Network Value Engineering (NVE) team has become an instrumental part of this process, working with prospects and customers to develop success plans. The NVE team is responsible for driving prospect and customer commitment to Ariba programs across the region. We achieve this by leading customers through the success planning process, including conducting current-state diagnostics, building a business case, defining a roadmap and obtaining executive buy-in. The NVE Director will have deep knowledge of Procurement and Finance and will be comfortable discussing and guiding senior client stakeholders through organizational, strategic and operational issues. Responsibilities Contribute to driving business growth by engaging as a trusted partner with customers at various stages of their procurement/finance transformation journeys, including Working with the sales teams/customer management teams to identify appropriate new/growth opportunities to drive Profiling a customers current maturity across various procurement and finance functions to identify the opportunity and cost to get to best-inclass Developing associated business case and success plan for business process transformation Positioning the value proposition to various organizational levels, considering both top-down and bottom-up approaches Driving executive meetings to obtain buy-in to the program Support the evolution of the NVE team in enhancing and refining our materials and methodologies, including Identifying opportunities to refine existing or develop new intellectual property (methodology & tools and sales-support materials) Being viewed as a thought leader in industry circles by speaking at various industry forums, publishing articles and delivering innovative solutions Supporting innovation around our service delivery model and provide guidance to the service and support organizations on how to execute improvements Actively contributing to knowledge capital; responsible for coordinating efforts across specific content areas Help scale the NVE team as the organization sees exponential growth, including Supporting collaboration on hybrid accounts with SAP Industry Value Engineering teams Establishing and maintaining appropriate internal stakeholder relationships Identifying knowledge gaps and leading internal training on value-based selling and our success planning / business case methodologies Coaching/mentoring more junior team members Preferred Competencies Displays a strong understanding of best practice business processes related to Procurement and Finance Ability to influence the opinions and decisions of clients using understanding of clients organizational processes and best-in-class maturity knowledge Displays proactive communication Manages opportunities and accounts across all elements of a successful NVE program Targets, cultivates, and manages high-level client relationships (e.g. C-level, VP, or Director) to build influence and can intervene when a manager needs a senior presence Recognizes the service needs associated with a client-focused business model Applies a broad knowledge of Procurement and Finance applications/solutions Is familiar with the full spectrum of Aribas solutions and services and the differentiators between Ariba and market competitors Tailors selling approach for diverse customer groups Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following functional areas Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Procurement, Accounts Payable and Working Capital Management Strategy consulting experience Experience in technology enabled business transformation projects MBA or similar advanced degree 10 years Procurement and Finance experience (Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, Working Capital Management) Demonstrated experience in a successful consulting / service sales environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English local language) Strong presentation and organizational skills Strong leadership and people development skills Strong business and financial acumen Ability to work in a remote team environment and share best practices regularly Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers and own diverse sub-regions Strong problem-solving ability Industry experience advantageous Multi-lingual Asian language skills is an advantage Ability to travel up to 50 PERCENT WHAT YOU GET FROM US Success is what you make it.
