Requisition Title Credit Manager - Wholesale Credit Job Number 190000O5 Job Purpose Recommend/Approve/Decline credits as per delegation vested through the Approval Matrix. Key Result Areas Recommend / approval / decline (within designated powers). Manage assigned credit portfolio of the designated industry in terms of risk assessment, structure, accurate rating, recognize and proactively manage early warning signs on each credit as well as stay abreast of industry trends and actively engage in all credits within the designated portfolio. Ensure analysis is performed and assessment of credit proposals, relating to various sectors of financing. Sectors include the above mentioned but could include other sectors at different points in time i.e. Trading, Manufacturing, Contract Finance, Real Estate, & other secured/unsecured financing and providing effective input & recommendations in the decision making process. Meet Turn Around frames on all credit proposals for existing and prospect clients including Green Light Memos (GLMs). Support wholesale banking relationships with existing and prospective clients/client calls. Make recommendations to the decision-makers in terms of risk and credit decisions as per the delegated authorities. Support a team of relationship managers/officers and guide on preparation of Credit Proposals, market information and credit assessment techniques / issues, and repayment capacity under base & stress case scenarios. Ensure prudent credit practices and compliance with Bank's internal regulations & Central Bank rules and regulations. Support marketing teams in achieving yields and business. Assist Senior Credit Manager and Chief Credit Officer in development / revision of Bank's credit policies and lending strategies for various sectors, issuance of credit circulars, revision of credit proposal formats, Terms of Acceptances, Portfolio (sector wise) Risk Ratings, organize credit workshops etc. Manage the overall risk of the portfolio keeping it within acceptable limits as per Bank's policy and sector appetite.
