Our esteemed client in public sector is looking for an Interim Project Accountant to join their team based at Civic Centre, Twickenham on a 3 months contract basis paying £31.80/hour (Umbrella rate). The role holder will be working 36 hours per week Mon to Friday. The Project Accountant will: Support the Finance team in streamlining key elements of the monthly budget monitoring process by setting up macros and reviewing all time-heavy procedures To provide business process re-engineering support across the Environment & Community Services department - focusing on income collection and channel shift To support the recalculation of overheads, recharges and other cost allocation bases Required Skills and Experience: Qualified accountant or equivalent experience working in a similar role within public sector or environment and community services is beneficial. Advanced Excel skills including experience of using Macros is an essential requirement.
