Payroll Clerk Leeds, Chapel Allerton Salary £20,000 - £24,500 The Client Our client is a primary contractor for Network Rail delivering a diverse range of projects from earthworks and embankment stabilisation schemes to major structural projects such as bridge replacements & refurbishments. The Role For this role, you will join our friendly accounts team and will be responsible for processing an end to end monthly payroll for over 130 staff. Processing starters and leavers Administering statutory payments for SSP, SMP, SPP All statutory in year and year-end reporting including P60s, P45s & P11Ds Processing pension contributions Holiday pay calculations Analysing & costing weekly timesheets Responding to and resolving staff queries Processing and paying expenses for 250 employees Maintaining accurate salaries and benefits records on all HR systems Providing payroll analysis and reporting Deputise for the 2 Weekly payroll Experience/Skills Required At least 3 years payroll experience, ideally gained in the Construction industry where you will have experienced a fully costed payroll system. You will have excellent PC skills including advanced Excel. COINS experience would be ideal You will need to be highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines. You will need strong attention to detail and will pride yourself on your ability to process data with accuracy. You will be the first point of contact for resolving day-to-day queries and will need to be confident and proactive in communicating with our staff. AAT or CIPP Qualified
