Heyland Recruitment have recently been engaged by our client, a large International Service Group based in the Warrington area as they look to appoint an experienced Finance Manager as part of a recent restructure. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will take the lead on managing the day to day running of the transactional processing teams, ensuring quick, accurate and accessible management reporting and balance sheet control. Responsibilities include; Line manage the Cash Manager and AP Supervisors Control the month end close for AR/AP/Cash Review bank reconciliations and manage the clearance of sub-ledgers Review AR and AP reporting Manage fixed assets (additions, disposals, depreciation, IFRS) Manage and clear the GR/IR Account Manage month end process for subsidiary / joint venture Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations Reporting - Capex reporting Tax computations VAT / CIS return Manage Vendor / Customer Master Data (setting up new / making changes) Maintain capex tracker Manage inter-company balances The ideal candidate will be an ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified Finance Manager who has previous experience of managing transactional processing teams within a larger business. The successful candidate will be a competent Microsoft Excel user and have prior experience of working with an ERP System, preferably SAP. You will be a strong communicator and people manager, maintaining strong internal/external relationships whilst providing accurate and regular information to senior management.
