If so we want to hear from you We have an exciting opportunity to join Ark in this newly created Senior Finance Manager role with responsibility for the Portsmouth cluster. About the role: As Senior Finance Manager, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring high standards of financial management. You will be responsible for the operational finance of 3 academy schools in the Portsmouth region. This is a new role where you have the opportunity to add value by setting up processes in the cluster. You will also have the chance for regular networking with wider finance professionals across the Ark network to share best practice along with exposure to key educational professionals and senior leaders in order to help shape the finances of the schools. About you: A financial professional with excellent communication skills and experience of building good relationships with other financial professionals, key contacts, suppliers and across the leadership teams. Possess strong finance experience and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail ideally within education or a large or complex organisation. Good IT skills, with specific skills using Microsoft Office applications. You will proudly represent Ark schools in Portsmouth.
