Finance Manager / Senior Management Accounting (PQ or AAT) | Experiential Events Agency Harmonic Finance are proud to be working on an exclusive basis with one of the UK's leading experiential events agencies. Having placed the Finance Director and two transactional finance colleagues over the past 18 months, the business are now looking for a Finance Manager in response to recent growth. The position would suit a PQ or Finalist Management Accountant who is looking to take the step up to Finance Manager level. Candidates with AAT who have an intention to study CIMA or ACCA are very welcome to apply. Due to the nature of our client's business, applications from candidates with an Agency (marketing or creative), Manufacturing or Hospitality background will be particularly welcome. This is due to the project accounting / 'Work in Progress' (WIP) elements. Company Based in architect-designed and modern offices in the London Bridge area, the work environment is professional but very much non-corporate. The company partner with some of the world's leading brands and colleagues regularly attend the events as guests to gain a direct understanding of their work and projects. For those colleagues who wish to participate, there is a healthy social scene covering fitness activities as well as taking advantage of the many bars in the London Bridge vicinity The role & duties: With a direct report into the Finance Director the role has a commercial bias as much of the accounting and forecasting is project-related, but would best suit an 'all-rounder' as VAT return and supervision of junior colleagues covering AR/AP will also be required. Candidate's who have owned part but not all of these responsibilities will be considered. - Produce monthly management reports in a timely and accurate manner. Reports to include P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow summary as well as other KPI reporting to be agreed with the Senior Management. - Ensure precise accounting, revenue recognition and forecasting for customer projects through effective WIP evaluation and reporting. - Support the FD by highlighting relevant overheads and working capital information - Complete full balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis. - Maintain the client's rolling cash flow forecast - Manage the payroll (inc. temp workers for events projects), expenses, benefits and pension process - Take responsibility for the account team's understanding the WIP process - Take care to ensure that the business is effectively monitoring and measuring its billing process and that any un-invoiced amounts are kept to a minimum.

Salary:
