Our client, a large multinational business, require a French speaking Financial Controller to join their team. The role, based in the City of London, will report into the International Controller and will be responsible for looking after the Benelux region. Responsibilities for the role will include but not be limited to: Oversee the reporting of the month end accounts across Benelux Oversee monthly close activities across Benelux and ensure adherence to timetable Ensure accounting entries and revenue recognition are in compliance with Group Accounting Policies and local GAAP across Benelux Drive the appropriate recognition of all intercompany items in all relevant entities Conduct month-end reviews of financial performance of all entities across Benelux Review monthly P&L with the FP&A team and align on performance vs. budget Prepare monthly Benelux commentary and prepare quarterly outlook Prepare / submit the monthly consolidated reporting pack, incl. variances and commentary Provide insight to the Benelux CFO into Benelux financial performance as required Manage relationship with external auditors Ensure year-end statutory accounts are properly prepared and appropriate information has been provided for the annual audit The successful candidate will: Strong US GAAP/local GAAP experience Qualified accountant with PQE Fluent French speaker Have strong team management experience
