This role will suit an individual who is looking for part-time and has previous experience working with in investment fund accounting Job Description The investment fund accountant will be solely responsible for the updating and reconciling of accounts in quickbooks and ensuring the reporting is processed to deadlines and timescales. The role will be reporting directly into the office and managing director and would suit a candidate who is looking to progress and further develop their fund knowledge. As an overview you will be responsible for:- Reconciling all major control accounts including the fund manager accounts. Comply with the accounting standards Preparing, processing and collating the expense claims Preparing the annual budget and cash flow forecasting. Updating the accounts using the information and documentation provided Maintaining the audit trail with filing and referencing into Quickbooks Advise line manager of any outstanding issues Assisting with the payment cycle, ensuring timely settlement of investment and related deliverables Producing management accounts Person Specification The ideal candidate will be from an investment fund accountingBackground and have experience working within a similar role, or seeking to transfer their skills as a progressive step forwards into this post. The successful candidate will possess an excellent eye for detail, a can do attitude and a willingness to deliver key business objectives in a timely fashion.
