My client is currently going through a period of growth and therefore seeking an experienced and ambitious Financial Controller to join their team. Responsibilities:
Carry out full preparation on month end management accounts including balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and preparation of monthly consolidation Prepare monthly revenue analysis Oversee quarterly VAT reporting Preparing and reviewing monthly payroll for submission to payroll Provide support the FD in HR matters where necessary. Oversee annual audit reporting including preparation of consolidated Financial Statements Oversee preparation of annual R&D tax claim Assisting the FD in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Review of monthly overheads in comparison to budget understanding variance to budget. Other ad-hoc projects Key Requirements: Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Financial Controller in a start up environment Hands on approach to work Excellent inter personal, team working and organisational skills Advanced Excel skills Knowledge of Xero and Sage is a must Proven ability to work to deadlines
