We're the world's leading maker of Chocolate, Biscuits, Candy and Gum with billion-dollar brands like Cadbury, Milka, Prince and Oreo and we now have an exciting opportunity to join our team.Purpose of the RoleManage the execution of internal audits for Mondelēz International under the direction of the Internal Audit Director, to ensure that:Systems of internal controls, processes and procedures are adequate to manage risks, provide accurate financial reports and to safeguard corporate assets.Mondelēz International corporate and regional policies are being adequately followed.Best control practices and process efficiencies are identified.Risk-based audit procedures are devised to adequately assess all significant business and operational risks.Internal audits are effectively coordinated with regional management teams.All audit work is thorough, complete, and performed in accordance with IIA standards and Internal Audit standards. Audit results are effectively communicated to senior management, and external auditors. Main ResponsibilitiesEffectively lead audit teams to plan and execute audit work professionally and efficiently. Display leadership and project management skills to complete quality work on time with budgeted resources.Communicate effectively verbally and in writing by adopting appropriate communication styles to individuals at all levels of the organization and remaining open to disagreements or new ideas.Articulate an understanding of business areas under review, and demonstrate solid rationale for raising potential audit issues.Update Audit Director on audit progress and potential issues in a timely manner.Develop an open and honest working relationship with those being audited and maintain a professional approach at all times.Share best practices, tools and testing methodologies with other team members, and contribute to departmental projects.Manage and coach direct reports, identifying development plans and provide performance feedback.Support audit operations including the scheduling of resources, risk assessments and liaising with co-source providers.Lead various audit related projects and initiatives to drive leading edge auditing techniques.Qualifications Candidate requirementsUndergraduate degree.Professional internal audit or accounting certification (e.g., CIA, CISA, CPA, CA, etc.).Extensive professional experience; audit related experience within a Big-4 accounting firm and/or large corporation's internal audit department.Strong knowledge of risk/control frameworks (COSO)US GAAP/IFRS experienceSAP knowledge and/or Data Analytics skillsFMCG/Manufacturing experience preferred.Experience of leading direct reports with excellent leadership and teamwork skills.Experience in working in a diverse multi-cultural environment.Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management.Willingness to travel globally (up to 30%).We pride ourselves on having a high performing and collaborative culture where we offer support and development to enhance your career and develop your knowledge and skills.In return for your commitment, drive and enthusiasm, we offer an attractive benefits package within a highly successful International business that offers financial rewards and resources, including bonus scheme, contributory pension, life assurance, generous holiday allowance and a flexible benefits programme.Primary
