Badenoch & Clark are working with a Global Organisation based in Crawley. We are looking for an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis who will support the finance team and report directly to the Finance Controller. Key
responsibilities:
Produce monthly performance reports, understanding the important messages and providing relevant insight to the business to guide and support decision making. Process and review financial transactions to ensure that costs are correctly treated in the accounting systems, following relevant procedures. Investigate and analyse cost data to ensure that costs are correctly treated following accounting policies and the contractual requirements. Dealing with month end Will be required to deal with accruals and balance sheets for control accounts. Complete monthly reconciliations on SAP, and ensure any corrections are made, to ensure that costs are consistent. Skills and experience: Equivalent of a part-qualified accountant, but with sufficient experience to partner with more senior members of the organisation. Good IT skills, particularly MS Excel (can perform complex functions) - SAP experience is desirable Ability to be able to meet deadlines. Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
