The Requirement The Finance Manager will report into the Financial Controller and will be pivotal in overseeing the transactional & financial reporting areas of the finance department during this exciting growth phase for the business. It's important that the Finance Manager is diligent and strides to improves processes The Finance Manager should possess excellent leadership capability as the successful applicant will be responsible for guiding and empowering a transactional team going through change. The Finance Manager role is mainly supporting with month-end and preparing the accounts for the Financial Controller for both businesses. Additional responsibility covers: Internal controls Statutory reporting Preparing individual & consolidated management accounts Compiling VAT returns Preparing companies house filings Undertake ad hoc projects requested by the FD or FC Person Specification ACA/ACCA qualified accountant Excellent leader of people with experience of managing or supervising teams Ability to use own initiative and make strategic decisions within fast paced environments Technically gifted with an up to date knowledge of accounting regulations Benefits include - 25 days holiday, pension, free on-site parking and discount on company products This is a truly exciting time to join the business; the Finance Manager duties are expected evolve further over a period of substantial growth.
