Salary:
£30,000 to £35,000 per annum Benefits: Rewards and incentives, Parking on site, Friendly and inclusive working environment, Regular training and development About the role: We are looking for a qualified accountant to join the finance team assisting them with the business accounts. Reporting into the financial director, the successful candidate will help with the general management and commercial accounts of the business, along with liaising with all department heads to collect data for forecasting and budget management.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining an accurate, efficient and well controlled overall system of accounting processes and information. - Working with department heads to develop forecasts and budgets. - Assisting the FC & FD in monthly financial performance reports. - Collating financial information for the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles to ensure continual reporting and monitoring of departmental performance. - Helping to manage cash flow processes and reporting and implementing procedures to maximise efficiencies. - Assisting with project assignments and financial reporting. About you: - Professionally qualified accountant, either degree level or ACCA, CIMA or AAT level 4. - Ideally 2-3 years' post study experience in a commercial accounting environment. - Good understanding of a manufacturing environment. - Drive and determination to develop their career and experience. - Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting and modelling would be beneficial, however not essential. - Knowledge of an internal credit control function. - Professional approach coupled with strong interpersonal skills. - Commercially minded, understanding the purpose and usefulness of financial information for business decision making. - Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills. - Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work co-operatively with others to complete tasks as well as manage own workload. - Excellent IT knowledge, including Microsoft packages.
