Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join a large organisation based in Brighton. The role will be supporting the Lead Financial Accountant and to contribute to an efficient accounting team. Responsibilities include; Prepare monthly reconciliations of investments, loans and investment income, ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and resolved. Prepare reconciliations for key control accounts ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and resolved. Provide support in the preparation of the organisations annual financial statements, including the preparation of schedules to support balance sheet and income and expenditure figures. Maintain the fixed asset register, and prepare reconciliations between the register and the ledger. Carry out monthly reviews of the payroll control account reconciliations. The successful candidate will be a Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) candidate possessing excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills, with relevant experience in a finance department.
