Competitive Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Dairy Partners is a privately owned dairy business specialising in Mozzarella manufacture and supply into the domestic and overseas foodservice sector. We are now looking for a talented Head of Finance to be based at our Stonehouse site, but be responsible for leading our Finance team across two sites, in Stonehouse and Newcastle Emlyn, Wales. This is an exciting time for a Head of Finance to join a growing business undertaking significant investment in both sites including plans to build a brand new facility in Stonehouse. Reporting to the Director of Finance, Operations & HR, Head of Finance role will be to manage the finance operations across the business and contribute to the strategic planning for the Company, which will include: Management and leadership of the finance function across two sites (one sales & manufacturing, one manufacturing only) Delivering an efficient and accurate transactional processing function. Making best use of IT systems. Setting and maintaining good financial controls. Provision of timely and relevant management information. Acting as business partner to non-finance colleagues. Control of working capital and cash flow. Head of Finance Production of the 3 year financial plan, annual budget and business plan. Head of Finance will need to be a commercially focussed, qualified accountant with experience in financial strategy, planning and budget management, with strong leadership and management skills and the ability to initiate and deliver change. Head of Finance must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior finance role within a stock holding/manufacturing environment. Experience of operating ERP systems, including manufacturing/production order and stock modules is essential. Previous experience of the Food and Drink sector would be an advantage, as would knowledge of SAP Business One software. Head of Finance will have an excellent understanding of all aspects of the finance function (including invoicing, credit control, AR, AP, GL, fixed assets, stock and payroll), be confident and credible with strong influencing skills and able to drive continuous improvement across the business.
