We are currently working on behalf of a large Financial Services group based in the City, to recruit a Senior Manager in their tax function. The role will have a focus on reporting and a broad remit including most of their worldwide jurisdictions. The main responsibility of the role is the oversight of the accurate completion of all financial reporting through a team of experienced Tax Managers. The successful candidate will be ultimately responsible for their teams performance, and will need to ensure each countries reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Other responsibilities of the role include direct interaction with external auditors and supporting the Head of Tax with ad-hoc projects. The right person for the role will have extensive experience in a Top 10 accounting firm, ideally followed by a senior in-house Tax Reporting position. Broad tax knowledge is expected but a particular expertise in Corporate Tax Compliance within Financial Services is highly desirable.
