We are actively looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a privately owned but well-established business based in Preston, and work within their small finance function alongside the FD. The role will be working with different managers within the business and producing the month end reporting pack with commentary to the FD for review. The role will involve: - Fully responsible for the reporting of the month end financials Management of daily cashbook and cash flow management Assist with the stock management system and associated movements, usage and balances Manage several P&L's within the business, analysing KPI's around overhead management, product range, customer trends and margin control Main point of contact for internal and external partners including Board of Directors, bank and auditors Be hands on with the transactional reporting side of the accounts, monitoring balances and managing the nominal ledger Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process in line with the future growth of the business The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: - Ideally looking for ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, although final stages would also be considered Preferably with manufacturing or distribution Extensive knowledge of the reporting up to month end closure, with good working experience of general ledger management Good team player with strong communication skills at all levels If you are interested in this role or wish to discuss your CV, then please apply to Rachel Mitson at Rebus Recruitment Ltd and we would be happy to review your application.
