Assistant Accountant £14.00-17.00 per hour TEMPORARY - 6 months initially A multi national construction joint venture business in West Herts are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support a specialist project team in a quickly expanding business. Key responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant job will include: Forecasting Payments and banking administration Prepare monthly journals, cost transfers, accruals and pre-payments Produce monthly balance sheet recs Manipulation of large data sets Intercompany reconciliations Sales ledger and credit control Prep of VAT Monthly end to end process of recharges Experience of working within multi-currency The ideal Assistant Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills: Currently studying for ACCA or CIMA (early stages) Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel) Organised approach and good communication skills This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join an expanding finance department to support exciting projects.
