Credit Controller - £20k to £25k - Horsham An opportunity has arisen to join a UK's leading manufacturer. The business distributes various products to construction, civil engineering, groundwork and agricultural companies. With three branches in the South of England and one new branch which opened just last year. The business is a solid and expanding, offering stability to any new member of staff. You will be sole Credit Controller for the company, working within a small accounts team. This is a responsible role; you would get your own office due to the confidentiality side of this position but of course be part of the office banter. Currently this role is in good working order, so you would be taking over a well-run position. Processes are in place which need to be followed. You will be dealing with customer queries - including prices, proof of deliveries etc, sending out customer statements and preparing and sending out customer credit control letters. Submitting instructions for collection to their credit provider where necessary. Opening new customer accounts when requested and relevant approvals and references have been obtained. Apply for new credit protection limits for new accounts and setting up the new accounts on the ERP system. Requesting new credit protection limits for existing accounts and updating the ERP system for any changes to a customer - limits, trading status etc. To apply for the Credit Controller role, we are seeking a candidate with previous experience as this is a responsible role. Strong verbal and written communication. Able to create good working relationships quickly, organised, ability to work to deadlines, keen eye for detail, strong time management. Ability to pick up a new system as the ERP also manages the credit control function, good Excel would be a bonus. Free parking on site for this Credit Controller role, hours can be from 8.30am to 5pm or 8am to 5pm, this would be reflected in the basic salary which is from £20K to £25K.
