Working across functions, you will be based in the Birmingham offices of a well-regarded business. Impressive analytical skills and business acumen are essential, to support improved business decision making. Time will be spent working with the central accounting team, continuous reporting improvements and relationship building with business managers. Individual achievements will be prevalent in the results, through reporting accuracies, timescales and finance performance targets. Responsibilities will include partnering Directors with commercial decision making, ensuring delivery of CAPEX strategy, budgeting and forecasting, financial performance reviews, business projects and planning. The ideal candidate will have an inquisitive mind set, the ability to analyse market trends and in turn, business process improvements. A qualified accountant who has led management accounting improvements and worked on commercially focused projects would suit.
