If so, please read on Robertson Bell Finance are working with a growing charity who punch above their weight in the international development sector to recruit an Interim Head of Finance for a period of 3-6 months. Reporting into the CEO, the main responsibilities of the role are as follows: Oversee a major change programme, focussing on updating finance manuals and increasing team coherence across the global team. Lead a strong team of three, all of which are relatively new in the organisation and need guidance in the charity specific areas of finance. Ensure tighter controls are rolled out regarding the management of restricted and unrestricted income. Play a key role in the project management team for the procurement of a new finance system and the subsequent future roll-out. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant or be extensively qualified by experience with strong knowledge of the international development sector. In order to hit the ground running, you must have demonstrable experience of having worked in similar charities and be able to advise this organisation of the best course of action on various issues. Finally, you must be available immediately or with a short notice period as my client are looking to move as quickly as possible.
