SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a business in Swadlincote who require a Transactional Finance Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong man manager to join a friendly, growing business and put their own stamp on things As the Transactional Finance Manager, responsibilities include: 1. Manage, develop and motivate staff and carry out any necessary supervision, appraisal, guidance and training. 2. Supervise and support the Accounts Payable, Receivable and Cash Income functions 3. Manage the relationship for the Payroll function with the outsource provider and ensure that all detail within the Financial Management System in relation to Payroll is accurate. 4. Preparation of the annual budget for Insurance. 5. Annual review of Fees and Charges, ensuring detailed analysis and engagement with Service Managers is undertaken. 6. Insurance management, advising staff and meeting regularly with Human Resources and Health and Safety to mitigate negligence 7. Review and approve allocated monthly balance sheet reconciliations performed by direct reports and advise the Head of Finance of any concerns. 8. Take the lead in ensuring that all Balance Sheet Reconciliations are complete on a monthly basis and report any concerns to the Head of Finance. 9. Complete statutory claim forms and statistical returns to various departments as required. 10. Provide expert advice, prepare reports and attend meetings, as required. 11. Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Director You will have relevant operational experience in managing and delivering results and big team management experience, with particular strengths in all areas of Credit Control. You will have demonstrable experience of process improvement and control implementation, as well as the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines whilst delivering to a high standard. You will have excellent communication and rapport building skills with the ability to influence and liaise with finance and non-finance stake holders.
