What is the main purpose of the role? You will support the Financial Controller to establish and maintain accounting controls so as to ensure the smooth running of the venue's accounts department. You will provide generalist support to the Accounts Team, including purchase ledger, billing, income audit and credit control procedures. You will also take financial responsibility for the venue's payroll procedures, including the weekly forecast/actual payroll reports and associated activities. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller who has previous experience in a generalist finance role within the hospitality industry. You will need to be highly numerate, analytical and have an exceptional attention to detail to be successful. Ideally you will have experience using our systems, including Opera PMS, Sage x3, ProcureWizard and Fourth Hospitality, as well as being highly proficient in all Microsoft Office packages. It would also be beneficial if you had a HOSPA qualification or would be willing to work towards this.
