Reporting into the CEO, you will provide advice on a broad range of complex public and private sector finance and commercial matters. You will develop the capabilities and capacity of a broad range of UKRI's corporate services including finance, risk and assurance, legal, procurement & commercial services, estates and Health & Safety, Your responsibilities will include: Working closely with the parent department, UKRI Board and senior executives to drive Driving the annual financial planning, budgeting and reporting cycle Making decisions on complex multi £m investment decisions Working closely with the Transformation Director to oversee the delivery of programmes to improve and simplify the organisation's digital and transactional services (including acting as SRO for a multi-year service and systems renewal programme for the HR and Finance ERP To succeed, you must be a professionally qualified accountant with a strong track record in strategic planning, influencing major business decisions and driving significant change within a large, complex organisation. You will be an exceptional communicator, able to influence, challenge and establish relationships at all levels; with significant commercial acumen and business knowledge.
